Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive disease which causes patients to have difficulty in breathing. Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema are considering to be COPD and the main causes are smoking, exposure to certain chemicals, bronchial hyper-reactivity and in some cases genetic factors.
